My Story

I have lived with sight loss all my life and have been completely blind since 2010. I have a guide dog called Sandi and have played Blind Tennis since 2017. I have been ranked as high as 6th in the world and have been selected to represent Great Britain several times.

VI tennis has been great for growing my confidence on and off court, encouraging me to participate in regional and national tournaments across the country, boosting my courage and confidence to restart travelling on public transport after the isolation of the pandemic has been significant.

I look forward to taking part and playing tennis for ALL 24 hours in order to raise funds to expand the disability tennis programme of Bright Ideas for Tennis, I Play 30.
